Key Features
Aluminium Beams
Light aluminium beams can be installed without the need for machinery for placement, making installations easier than ever.
Beam Deflection System
Allows the header beam to deflect up to 6mm. This is brilliant for larger door spans and prevents any unwanted catching.
Supports Wide Spans
Goalposts can be used on door spans of up to 6.5m. They can be installed for larger scale projects with intermediate structural posts, supporting over 10m of sliding door spans.
Any RAL Colour
An internal pelmet can be installed to reduce visibility. Alternatively, the Goalpost can be left visible and powder coated in any RAL colour.
Available in U-Design
The consumer can visualise their conservatory Goalpost configuration with this exciting new sales software on Ultraframe’s website.
Performance Engineering
Square and inline leg options in a range of sizes to accompany the header beam
Single, double, or triple header beams depending on structure size
Wall plate or spreader plate to join at host wall, with posts used at corners or inline
Base plates supplied with four predrilled holes for bolting and fixing
The beam deflection system acts as a cushion or spring for deflection
Connection Details
Single header beams should be used for elevations with large door spans. To create more open structures, we’d suggest using two or three header beams.
The beams can also join to a wall plate at the host wall, or spreader plate (with brick piers). The base plate contains four pre drilled holes to fix the poles into position. The posts can be fixed centrally, flush left or flush right.
Leg Options
Ultraframe provides two square leg, and one in-line leg option.
The 70 x 70mm square option is used as standard.
The 102 x 100mm square option is supplied as standard with the 200 x 102mm header beam.
Our inline 150 x 50mm header beam can be used as a goalpost leg, or alternatively as an inline goalpost leg behind the middle door frame.
Any RAL Colour

Without an internal pelmet, homeowners can configure the Goalpost to be visible in any RAL colour. Be sure to offer the full range of customisation we have available.

FAQs
What conservatory roofs is the Goalpost compatible with?
The Goalpost is compatible with the Glass Roof, Livinroof and Ultraframe garden rooms. Request a quote for one today.
Does Connaught deliver?
We do! Based in Rotherham, we are well placed to supply the Goalpost to postcodes across England and Wales. If you have any questions about our services, get in contact with our team directly.
Do you supply internal pelmets and columns?
Yes. We fabricate and supply the trade with the Ultraframe Insulated Internal Pelmet and Super Insulated Columns. A pelmet can be used as part of the design should the homeowner wish to conceal the visibility of the Goalpost, with an attractive finish and superior thermal efficiency.
Does the Goalpost prevent racking?
Racking occurs in strong winds when the corners of the structure have not been supported adequately. Where brick and reinforced glass can be used to prevent this, the Goalpost is perfect for wide spans of glass and it provides highly efficient levels of lateral stability.
Why trade with Connaught?
Our dedicated Rotherham based team work hard to produce high quality conservatory roof supplies for easy installations and satisfied homeowners. We pride ourselves on quick quote turnarounds and our no nonsense communication. Get in touch today for a bespoke, streamlined service.
What are the deflection limits?
The Ultraframe Goalpost can cater to both top hung and bottom running doors. We allow a 6mm deflection limit for our eaves beam and Goalpost solutions. A beam deflection system can absorb an additional 6mm of deflection if required.
